What an inspiring day at The Nail Files: Fundamentals of Nail Surgery — the first-ever nail surgery workshop organized by the Dermatologic Surgery Unit of the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, in partnership with Skin Research Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. 
 

As part of our mission as a National Specialty Center, we remain committed to advancing dermatologic care through continuous training and education.

The day began with warm opening remarks from our Department Chairperson and Dermatologic Surgery Unit Head, Dr. Ma. Cricelda Rescober-Valencia, followed by a series of insightful lectures delivered by Drs. Carolyn Chua-Aguilera, Ma. Christina B. Gulfan, Mobbydick G. Tana, and Monique Lim-Ang. The morning sessions included a dynamic open forum, fostering thoughtful discussion and exchange of ideas. In the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to apply their knowledge through valuable hands-on workshop sessions. We also sincerely thank our Vice Chairperson and Research Coordinator, Dr. Melanie Joy Doria-Ruiz, for her inspiring closing remarks.
